1. Who we are
AI Personalities is a service provided by Geoffrey Reemer of Reemer Webproducties, based in The Netherlands.
2. Data collection and usage
We collect and use your data to provide you with a seamless chat experience on our website. We may also use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our services and analyze website usage patterns.
3. Google account login
If you choose to log in with your Google account, we will store your email address, name, and profile picture in our database to create a new account. This information is deleted immediately when you delete your account. By logging in with your Google account, you consent to the storage and use of this information as described in this Privacy Policy.
4. OpenAI API keys
Users may submit their OpenAI API key to get unlimited chats with AI personalities. The API usage will be charged to that API key. The API key will never be used for any other purpose and will be deleted when the user deletes their account or removes the API key information from their profile.
5. Chat storage and encryption
Chats are stored in an encrypted format to ensure their privacy. Only the user who created the chat will be able to view it, unless the chat is shared by the user themselves.
6. Chat deletion
You can remove individual chats or delete your entire account at any time. When you delete your account, all of your personal information, private AI personalities, and chats will be immediately erased from our system.
7. Personal information
Please do not submit any personally identifiable information to our website. AI Personalities is designed for friendly, casual chats and is not intended for the secure transmission of sensitive information.
8. Data sharing and third-party services
We will never share or sell your chat information or personal data with third parties, except as necessary to provide you with a chat experience (e.g., with OpenAI's API). We use Google Analytics to analyze website usage. We use the GPT-4 API by OpenAI to generate chats and responses, and PromptPerfect to optimize chat prompts when creating new personalities.
9. Account deletion and data removal
Upon account deletion, all associated personal information, private AI personalities, chats, and OpenAI API keys will be immediately erased from our system.
10. Public AI personalities and account deletion
If you create a new AI personality and make it public, it will not be automatically erased when you delete your account. This ensures that people who have used that personality for chatting can still access their old chats. However, the personality will be taken offline to prevent future users from accessing it.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically to stay informed about our privacy practices.
