AI Personalities Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using AI Personalities, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use the website.
2. Free to use
AI Personalities is a free-to-use website. Users can access and chat with AI personalities without incurring any charges (apart from charges to your OpenAI API key - see #4).
3. Account registration
In order to provide you with the best chat experience, users are required to register with a Google account. By registering, you consent to the storage and use of your Google account information as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Your own API key
Chatting with AI Personalities is unlimited and free; there is no cap on the number of messages you can send. Users may optionally connect their own API key, in which case chats using the corresponding model are billed to that key instead.
5. Future subscription model
In the future, AI Personalities may introduce a paid subscription model to accommodate users who are unwilling or unable to connect their own OpenAI API key. This will be a separate option and will not affect the free-to-use nature of the website.
6. Compliance with OpenAI's terms of use
AI Personalities uses the GPT-4 model by OpenAI. By using this website, you also agree to comply with OpenAI's terms of use, which can be found at https://openai.com/policies/terms-of-use.
7. Prohibited content
Do not use this website to generate chats that promote or encourage hate, violence, sexual activities, or self-harm. Keep the content suitable for work. AI Personalities reserves the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and take appropriate actions, including terminating the user's account.
8. Service provided as is
The service is provided "as is", without warranty or guarantees about uptime or availability. AI Personalities will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use of the website, including but not limited to loss of data or disruption of service.
9. Changes to Terms of Service
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically to stay informed about our policies.
